TV best bets: Sun., Nov. 13

8 p.m., FOX: The Simpsons — There may — there must — be another option for the family when Grampa (voice of Dan Castellaneta, also heard as Homer) can‘t get health help from either the Retirement Castle or the V.A. Hospital in the new episode “Havana Wild Weekend.” As that title should imply, the Simpsons then head for Cuba, where they hope to get the assistance they need inexpensively. Guest voices include veteran actor Stacy Keach.

8 p.m., HALLMARK CHANNEL: Christmas Cookies — Hannah Harper (Jill Wagner, “Wipeout”), a businesswoman with a woeful lack of yuletide spirit, is sent to a picturesque upstate New York town called Cookie Jar to acquire the homemade Christmas cookie business that inspired the community‘s name. Its owner, Jake Carter (Wes Brown), is reluctant to sell, however, if it means moving the company elsewhere. As Hannah tries to close the deal with Jake, the homespun charms of Cookie Jar evoke happy childhood memories for her in this new 2016 holiday drama.

8:30 p.m., FOX: Son of Zorn — A holiday comes early in the new episode “The Battle of Thanksgiving,” as an uninvited Zorn (voice of Jason Sudeikis) makes the scene for Edie‘s (Cheryl Hines) meal. Her mother (guest star Jenny O‘Hara) is among the guests, and Zorn is determined to show that he‘s a changed man — er, animated figure. Alan (Johnny Pemberton) has his own agenda at work during the dinner. Sarah Koenig, of “Serial” fame, voices her cartoon likeness.

9 p.m., CBS: Madam Secretary — Elizabeth (Tea Leoni) clashes with the Saudi ambassador over his government‘s protection of someone who evidently bankrolled a U.S. coffee-shop bombing in the new episode “The Statement.” Matt (Geoffrey Arend) finds himself in a tough situation because of something he has in common with the accused bomber.

10:31 p.m., HBO: Insecure — As Lawrence (Jay Ellis) reaffirms his wholehearted commitment to her, Issa (Issa Rae) struggles not to lose her composure as she concentrates on hiding her guilt. Molly (Yvonne Orji) happily enters into a new relationship, but after she learns more than she wanted to know about her new beau‘s history, she decides it would be best to focus on their future together.
