Soiree de Corps, Jan. 19, home of Heathie and Chip Cox

Ballet Ball 2017 co-chairs Laura Currie and Martha Ivester thanked the Ballet Ball 2017 underwriters and members of the Corps de Ballet Committee with a special celebration Jan. 19 at the home of Heathie and Chip Cox. The event featured special guests Henry Hicks and Shannon Sanders. Hicks, president & CEO of the National Museum of African American Music, worked closely with Currie and Ivester to curate a collection of entertainers who celebrate Nashville’s diverse musical heritage for this year’s Ballet Ball. Ballet Ball 2017 entertainment includes world-renowned choir the , blues-rock duo and Grammy/Dove/Emmy award-winning producer . Sanders gave a special impromptu performance on the piano at the Soiree de Corps event. Ballet Ball 2017, benefiting Nashville Ballet, will be held at Schermerhorn Symphony Center on March 4.
